The gig is abandoned after a large crack appears on the floor of the venue...

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s LEEDS show last night (November 5) was postponed mid-set due to safety concerns.

The band played a show at the Leeds Town Hall as part of their ongoing UK tour.

Shortly after the band started their set members of the local security appeared on stage and told the band to stop playing. He told the audience that there was a fire alert, and the venue was evacuated.

Half an hour later the band went outside and joined the crowd. Robert Turner told the assembled masses through a megaphone that they’d been told a crack had appeared on the floor of the venue and the gig had to be postponed.

The tour continues at: Birmingham Carling Academy (7)

Cardiff University (8)

Bristol Carling Academy (9)

Nottingham Rock City (10)

Norwich UEA (11)

London Brixton Academy (13)
