Black Sabbath's promised live album is to be released in the UK in September...

Black Sabbath are to release their live album, ‘Black Sabbath Live’ in the UK on September 22, through Epic Records.

The album, which was recorded during the band’s reunion gig at the Birmingham NEC on December 5 last year, features the original line-up of the long-running band – Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward.

Last December’s gigs were the first the original band had played since 1985’s Live Aid appearance (after Ozzy Osbourne left the band in 1978 for a solo career). Black Sabbath have also re-united to play this year’s Ozzfest gigs.

According to music website Muzic.com, the track list is as follows: ‘War Pigs’, ‘Beyond The Wall Of Sleep’, ‘N.I.B.’, ‘Fairies Wear Boots’, ‘Electric Funeral’, ‘Sweet Leaf’, ‘Spiral Architect’, ‘Into The Void’, ‘Snow Blind’, ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’, ‘Orchid’/’Lord Of The World’, ‘Dirty Women’, ‘Black Sabbath’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Children Of The Grave’, and ‘Paranoid’. Epic UK spokesman Matt Reynolds could not confirm the live material but said there would be two new tracks on the album.

He added the band will be back playing live in the UK in spring next year.
