CROWD CRUSH DRAMA AT BLINK 182 SHOW

A crowd crush leads to chaos at the band's Los Angeles gig...

Blink-182 were almost forced to cancel their performance at LOS ANGELES GREAT WESTERN FORUM after a barrier in front of the stage collapsed.

The pressure of the 2,000 fans in the standing area of the 10,000 capacity venue caused the barrier to topple after support band Bad Religion finished their set at Friday’s show (May 12).

Security staff had to quickly rebuild a new barrier and hold back thousands of screaming fans at the gig, the second date in the San Diego pop-punks’ ‘Blink 182 Drive-In’ US tour.

After the front of the stage was secured again, the band went on stage and played a 15-song set.
