Blink-182’s Travis Barker to publish autobiography this November

Drummer’s memoir will be called Can I Say

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker will release an autobiography this November.

Barker’s memoir Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death & Drums Drums Drums will be published on October 20 by William Morrow Publishers.

According to a press release promoting the book, the book will give Barker’s take on rock stardom, the rise of Blink-182 and his involvement in a plane crash that left him severely injured in 2008.

Blink-182 are reportedly due to record new material with Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio later this year.

Skiba joined the band as a live member earlier this year, after Barker and Mark Hoppus split from Tom DeLonge when the singer allegedly refused to enter the studio and record a new album with them. A statement from Hoppus and Barker followed, asserting DeLonge had quit the band.

Meanwhile, DeLonge has revealed plans to release four albums and publish 15 novels this year.
