Tom DeLonge shares solo song ‘New World’ – listen

The former Blink-182 member releases solo album in April

Tom DeLonge has revealed new solo material following his exit from Blink-182 earlier this year. Listen to ‘New World’ below, now.

Delonge recently announced his plan to release ‘To The Stars’; an album of solo material old and new on April 21. ‘New World’ is the first song to be taken from the album.

It was previously revealed that co-frontman Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker had split from DeLonge after the singer allegedly refused to enter the studio and record a new album with them.

Following a statement from Hoppus and Barker asserting DeLonge had quit the band “indefinitely”, DeLonge denied the story.

DeLonge will be replaced by Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio at Blink-182’s next booked show at the Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival on March 22 in Orange County, California. Hoppus confirmed that, at present, it is too soon to say whether Skiba will become a full time member of the band, or if another replacement for DeLonge will be sought.
