Blink-182 announce Las Vegas residency and plans to marry fans onstage

"The possibilities in Vegas are endless"

Blink-182 have announced details of a massive Las Vegas residency set to run later this year.

The pop-punk outfit will play 16 dates at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort during May, June, October and November.

They are calling the stint their ‘Kings Of The Weekend’ tour and have joked about marrying fans onstage.

“When the Palms asked us to do a residency here in Vegas, we said ‘Absolutely!'”, frontman and bassist Mark Hoppus said in a statement.

“Now, we just have to cast our showgirls, create our set list – a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone onstage… The possibilities in Vegas are endless.”

Tickets go on general sale this Friday (March 23).

Blink-182 will play the following dates in total: May 26-27, June 8-9, 15-16, 23-24, October 26-27, November 2-3, 9-10, 16-17.

Recently, it was reported that the disgraced promoter of Fyre Festival spent over $150,000 of his budget on a yacht for Blink-182.

Billy McFarlane’s budgetary reportedly included $160,000 on a yacht for headliners Blink-182, who pulled out ahead of the festival regardless, plus $18,208 on towels, and $260,000 on carpet for ‘tent city’, which costed around $470,000.

Despite these costs, the festival was left without running water when punters arrived on-site. The company behind the event was later forced into bankruptcy, while McFarlane has pleaded not guilty to attempting to defraud his investors.
