Bloc Party confirm comeback single details

New tracks and remixes to feature

Bloc Party have unveiled further details of the first single to be taken off their new album ‘A Weekend In The City’.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the band will release ‘The Prayer’ on January 29 on a series of seven-inches, CDs and a download bundle including remixes.

The CD format features new track ‘We Were Lovers’ and a Phones Metal Jackin’ Mix of the title track.


The downloads of ‘The Prayer’ include mixes by Parisian DJ Para One (Institubes), Break & Silent Witness and UK duo Does It Offend You, Yeah?.

Bloc Party will kick off a UK tour to coincide with the release of their new single in Southampton on January 27.
