Singer says he thinks fans will start to 'headbutt each other in hysterics' during his set
Kele plays his first UK festival show as a solo artist on the John Peel Stage at Worthy Farm, and he says he’s confident he won’t be bottled off by Bloc Party fans shocked at his new dance-orientated direction.
“Of course that’s not going to happen,” Kele explained. “Let’s just all focus on the great exciting future that’s coming ahead of us, yeah? I mean, festivals are a weird thing – you’re playing to people who won’t be familiar with your music, and that’s going to be a challenge for me obviously. But it’s a challenge I definitely relish.”
