Blood Orange‘s Dev Hynes has contributed to the score for Palo Alto, the new movie from James Franco, Pitchfork reports.
The movie is based on the short story collection of the same name that Franco wrote. Gia Coppola has directed the adaption, which stars Franco, Emma Roberts and Val Kilmer. It is due for release in the US on May 9. No UK date has been confirmed as yet.
Hyne’s contributions to the soundtrack mark his first new music since last year’s ‘Cupid Deluxe’ album. Two songs under the name Devonté Hynes feature on the score, along with ‘You’re Not Good Enough’, credited to Blood Orange.
