Blood Red Shoes are set to showcase new material from their forthcoming second album at a free show in London this week.
The duo – singer/guitarist Laura-Mary Carter and singer/drummer Steven Ansell – will play an intimate gig at the Cro Bar in Soho on Wednesday (November 25).
“The only shows we’ve played this year have been mostly festivals, so it’ll be cool to set up on the floor at a tiny venue and play right in the audience’s faces,” the band said.
They added: “The new record is definitely a lot heavier [than the last one], so it’ll be good to get people right in the middle of the big sound.”
Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis. See the venue’s official website, Crobar.co.uk, for location details.
