NME and TOPMAN present Sounds Of Summer with Austin, Texas, taking place at east London’s Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on July 9.

The event features three rising acts: Blossoms, The Vryll Society and The Lapelles.

Stockport five-piece Blossoms have been making waves since first stepping out with the strutting psych of debut single ‘You Pulled A Gun On Me’ in 2014. They’ve also been selected to support The Stone Roses at one of their massive Manchester shows this week.

Liverpool group The Vryll Society, meanwhile, say they’re influenced by the likes of Air and Neu!. They are signed to the label that discovered The Coral and The Zutons, Deltasonic Records.

Finally, The Lapelles hail from East Kilbride and are an emerging quintet combining melodies, infectious choruses and a sense of scrappy, summery fun.
