Watch as Blossoms get religious in new ‘Blown Rose’ video

Band star with model Annalise Blaha ahead of new tour

Blossoms have unveiled the church-themed video for their new single ‘Blown Rose’.

Directed by Blonde/Birdy video maker Francis Wallis, the clip stars model Annalise Blaha praying in a Catholic church while Blossoms perform the song. It later sees singer Tom Ogden watch as Blaha causes a blaze with candles from the church.

The video was filmed at Led Zeppelin’s old home Hammerwood Park, as featured in their film The Song Remains The Same.

‘Blown Rose’ is taken from Blossoms’ self-titled debut album, which reached No 1 in August. It was the first debut album since ‘In The Lonely Hour’ by Sam Smith in 2014 to spend two weeks at No 1 in the UK.

The song was first released as a single in 2015, when Ogden’s cousin Daniel Rigby – the star of Channel 4 sitcom Flowers – had a cameo in its original video.

After recently finishing a tour supported by Declan McKenna and Cabbage, Blossoms head out on another UK tour in November. Support is from Inheaven and Georgie.

Blossoms will play:
Leicester O2 Academy (November 30)
Hull University (December 1)
Manchester Albert Hall (2-3)
Edinburgh Potterow (4)
Aberdeen Garage (6)
Middlesbrough Empire (7)
Oxford O2 Academy (11)
