Blur have enjoyed a massive surge in sales of their back catalogue after their performance at the Brit Awards last night (February 21).
The band, who were honoured with the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena, have seen sales of their albums go up by 2,700% as a result. They performed five songs at the end of the ceremony.
Adele, who took home two awards at the ceremony, has also seen sales of her albums ’19’ and ’21’ increase by 166%. Ed Sheeran, who also won two awards, has seen sales of his material shoot up by a whopping 796% after the awards, according to Amazon.
Others winners last night included Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Foo Fighters.
