GRAHAM COXON has denied he is leaving BLUR.
In recent months, Blur have been writing and recording their new album in London and Morocco.
As previously reported, today’s The Mirror newspaper (August 29), claims that tensions between him and singer Damon Albarn have led to a series of rows, and Coxon walking out.
However, Coxon said today that the rumours are untrue. He commented: “I’ve known Damon Albarn since I was 12. Any arguments we have are very quickly resolved – we’re beyond any really serious bust-ups. Honestly, I’m in Blur and enjoying making the new album.”
Insiders have told NME.COM that Coxon has not been in the studio much recently, but before the group went to Morocco he did record parts that could be included on the record.
