Blurplayed a secret fan-club show in London on Saturday night (January 30), their first live appearance of the year and the first playing new material from their forthcoming album ’13’.

In an impressive set, the band played the new single ‘Tender’ as well as most of the new album as well as some old hits like ‘There’s No Other Way’ to a crowd of about 250 people at the Depot in North London. All the audience were fan-club members given an opportunity to buy tickets for the show last week.

Blur‘s next show will be on Wednesday at Oxford Brookes University – the show is already sold out – before they fly out to Stockholm to play at the official launch of the album.
