Blur have released the previously unavailable track ‘Close’ on their annual fan club-only CD, which is out now.
The track, one of the first written by Blur when they emerged from their previous incarnation SEYMOUR, was recorded with producer Stephen Street in 1992. It was demoed during sessions for the band’s May 1993 LP ‘Modern Life Is Rubbish’, but it never made it on to the record.
‘Close’ will feature on a one-track only CD available with the November issue of the Blur fan club magazine Blurb which came out last week. Previous fan club CDs have featured a demo version of ‘Death Of A Party’ and ‘I Love Her’.
