The tracks were recorded in session for BBC Radio 2 last week

Blur performed acoustic versions of new songs ‘My Terracotta Heart’ and ‘Lonesome Street’ during a visit to BBC Radio 2 last week.

The band, who release new album ‘The Magic Whip’ today (April 27), were musical guests on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Friday (April 24).

Blur also performed classic tracks ‘This Is A Low’ and ‘Parklife’ during the live session, with actor Phil Daniels joining them for a lively performance of the latter. Fellow guest, The Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry, watched on.

Blur will headline British Summer Time in London’s Hyde Park on June 20. They have also been announced as a headliner for this year’s Isle Of Wight festival and Benicàssim festival in Spain.

Drummer Dave Rowntree has claimed that Blur will not be headlining Glastonbury this year.
