Blur’s ‘Leisure’ getting 25th anniversary vinyl reissue

The album was remastered at Abbey Road

Blur‘s debut album ‘Leisure’ is getting a special vinyl reissue to celebrate it’s 25th birthday.

Released on August 26, 1991, the album features singles ‘She’s So High’, ‘Sing’ and ‘There’s No Other Way’. It reached number 7 on the Official UK Chart.

The reissued album was remastered at Abbey Road, with the special edition pressed to turquoise vinyl by Parlophone. The label repressed ‘Leisure’ as recently as 2012.

Details of any extras or bonus tracks are yet to be revealed. The Britpop band reconvened in 2015 for their first album release in 12 years. Their comeback album ‘The Magic Whip’ was the first Blur album to feature Coxon since 1999.

Blur won Best Music Film at the NME Awards 2016 with Austin, Texas for their band documentary ‘New World Towers’. The film fought off tough competition from Amy, Montage Of Heck and Straight Outta Compton.
