Blur to headline London’s Hyde Park for fourth time in June

Band will play gig at the British Summer Time festival

Blur have been confirmed as the latest headliners of this year’s Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park.

The band announced details of the gig at a press conference in London earlier today (February 19). They will headline Hyde Park on June 20.

Blur last performed live in the UK at their last Hyde Park gig in August 2012, a gig that coincided with the end of the London Olympics. The band have also confirmed that they will release new ‘The Magic Whip.’

Blur are the latest act confirmed for British Summer Time Hyde Park. The Who will perform alongside Paul Weller, Kaiser Chiefs and Johnny Marr on June 26, with Taylor Swift set to play the festival one day later on June 27. Kylie Minogue tops a bill featuring Chic and Grace Jones on June 21.
