Bob Dylan to star in his very own ‘virtual’ concert

BBC Radio 2 to compile the troubadour's best live performances

BBC Radio 2 has announced it is to broadcast a “virtual” live Bob Dylan concert, featuring rare live performances spanning the past 39 years.

The Dream Dylan Concert, spanning from 1962 to 2001, will include a mixture of 11 rare live recordings, including classics such as ’Maggie’s Farm’ and ’Like A Rolling Stone’.

The broadcast will also include four recordings never heard before.

The Dream Dylan Concert will air on Radio 2 on October 6 at 8pm.

Meanwhile the BBC is currently the UK home of Bob Dylan‘s US radio show, the Theme Time Radio Hour.
