Bob Dylan is in talks to return to acting on the big screen, according to US reports.

The singer, who is due to tour the UK later this year in support of his critically acclaimed ‘Love And Theft’ album, is in discussions to take the role of prison inmate Jack Fate in the tentatively titled ‘Masked and Anonymous’, according to the Reuters news service.

The film may feature some of Bob Dylan‘s music also, according to the report. His last acting role was in the 1987 film ‘Hearts Of Fire’.
