Bob Dylan has announced details of a low-key tour of colleges and universities across the US.
Dylan, who completed a series a UK dates at London Wembley Arena earlier in the month, will start his tour on October 29 at the University of Madison, and will tour until mid-November.
Dylan is confirmed to play: University of Wisconsin (October 29) Northwestern University McGaw Memorial Hall (31) Bloomington Indiana University (November 1) West Lafayette Purdue University (2) Miami University (4) University of Michigan (5) Pittsburgh Duquesne University (6) Bethlehem Lehigh University (8) Boston University (10) Lowell Paul Tsongas Arena (11)
More dates are expected to be added as the tour continues.
Also, [url=]www.bobdylan.com reports that Dylan has provided an unreleased live version of the song ‘Friend of the Devil’ for ‘Stolen Roses’, a collection of performances of Grateful Dead songs. Also featured on the compilation are Elvis Costello, The Persuasions, Patti Smith and Henry Rollins.
