Bob Dylan has finally confirmed UK tour dates for September.

There has been mounting speculation over whether Dylan, who is currently on an extensive tour of the States, would announce dates in Britain and Ireland, and details have just been posted on his official website, [url=]www.bobdylan.com.

The dates are: Dublin The Point (September 14) Aberdeen Exhibition Centre (16) Glasgow SECC (17) Newcastle Telewest Arena (19) Birmingham NEC (20) Sheffield Arena (22) Cardiff Arena (23) Portsmouth Guildhall (24, 25)

Dylan then heads off for six dates in mainland Europe, before winding up at London Wembley Arena on October 5.

As previously reported on nme.com, Dylan recently unveiled his first new material since 1997’s ‘Time Out Of Mind’ album. The song ‘Things Have Changed’ is featured on the soundtrack to movie ‘The Wonder Boys’.
