The loveable celebrity brickie's festive anthem 'Can We Fix It' is storming past Eminem...

BOB THE BUILDER looks likely to knock EMINEM off the Number One spot this coming Sunday (December 17).

If initial chart predictions are reflective of the rest of the week, ‘Can We Fix It’ by the animated children’s hero will climb one place to Number One. The track outsold Eminem’s ‘Stan’ by 16,000 copies yesterday (December 11), totalling 49,553 in just one day, according to ITN news.

A chart expert at HMV in London said that ‘Can We Fix It’ is a “grower” and its high chart position last week will “help build awareness even further” for Bob, who, in some other weeks this year would have gone straight to Number One with the amount of copies the single sold he last week.

Elsewhere in the chart, first day sales predict that Robbie Williams will enter the chart in the Top Five with ‘Supreme’, while occasional musical partner Kylie Minogue will also make the Top Ten with her single ‘Please Stay’.

UK ‘Big Brother’ winner Craig Phillips looks set to make it into the Top 20 with his charity single ‘At This Time Of Year’, while the Boyzone duo Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch’s version of the Milli Vanilli song ‘Girl You Know It’s True’ is at Number 35.
