BOB THE BUILDER is narrowly holding onto his position at the top of the UK single charts – just outselling closest rival DJ OTZI in midweek sales figures.

According to midweek figures published yesterday (September 11), Bob‘s version of ‘Mambo No. 5’ remains at the top of the chart, behind DJ Otzi’s ‘Hey Baby’. The DJ has already scored Number One singles in Austria and Ireland.

Other high new entries this week come from N-Trance’s ‘Set You Free’ at Number Four, Samantha Mumba‘s ‘Baby Come On Over’ at Number Five, the Chemical Brothers‘ ‘It Began In Afrika’ at Number Seven and Manic Street Preachers‘ ‘Let Robeson Sing’, which is currently at Number Nine.
