Bobby Brown arrested in LA

Singer charged with driving under the influence

Bobby Brown has been arrested in LA and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

The singer, ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston, was stopped by police after driving erratically and failed an alcohol test, Reuters reports.

Brown was previously arrested on the same charge back in March, and later checked into rehab. He entered the facility during a break from touring with his band New Edition and shortly after he had returned from his honeymoon with his new wife and manager, Alicia Etheridge-Brown.

In May of this year, Brown hit back at claims that he was responsible for the drug addiction of his ex-wife, the late Whitney Houston. She died on February 11 at the age of 48, after she was discovered underwater and unconscious in a bath in a hotel in Beverly Hills. On March 22 a coroner revealed the cause of death as drowning combined with heart disease and cocaine use.

Bobby Brown released his latest studio album ‘The Masterpiece’ in June.
