Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala join Latitude line-up

Slowdive, Hall & Oates and First Aid Kit also added to Suffolk festival

Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala have been confirmed to appear at this summer’s Latitude Festival.

The bands lead the latest additions to the festival, which runs from July 17-20 at Henham Park in Southwold, Suffolk. Other new additions announced today (February 5) include the newly reformed shoegaze legends Slowdive, plus Hall & Oates and Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit.

Joining headliners Two Door Cinema Club and Damon Albarn on the bill will be Agnes Obel, Jungle, Damien Jurado, Julia Holter, Valerie June, Koreless, East India Youth, Kwabs, Eagulls and Fat White Family.

Other acts playing the festival include Röyksopp, Haim, Robyn, Billy Bragg, Anna Calvi, Phosphorescent, Cass McCombs, Nils Frahm, Goat, Marika Hackman, San Fermin, Son Lux, Willis Earl Beal and Josephine Foster.

Last year (2013), the festival saw performances from Kraftwerk, Bloc Party and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, as well as Disclosure, Villagers, Bobby Womack and Alt-J.

For the first time this year, the festival has launched a new deposit scheme where fans will be able to secure a ticket with a £50 deposit now and then pay the balance over the following three months at £46.83 each time (for an adult ticket which includes the booking fee).
