Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us
Bonnaroo Festival is set to offer its punters a free, on-site laundry service during its 2018 festival.
The US event, which is held in Manchester, Tennessee, will take place this weekend from June 7-10. The three headliners this year are Muse, The Killers and Eminem – you can check out the full line-up here.
As part of its on-site facilities for 2018, Bonnaroo will offer festivalgoers a free laundrette service. As reported by The Tennessean, the festival has teamed up with LG to provide the very handy service – which will be called the LaundROO Lounge – which’ll encompass 3,600 square feet of festival grounds.
LaundROO will be filled with 25 washers and driers which will be put into full use as part of the laundrette’s drop-off service. An accompanying lounge will also be available for punters to wait in, which offers AC, phone charging facilities and TVs.
The laundrette will also offer a vintage clothes exchange, with LG having teamed up with the New York City-based shop What Goes Around Comes Around.
Over 2500 items will initially be available, with festivalgoers simply asked to hand over whatever they’re wearing in exchange for their new outfit. Any clothes that are left over at the end of the festival will be donated to the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region.
In other festival news today (June 5), the New Orleans-based Voodoo Experience revealed their excellent line-up for 2018.
