Watch Bradley Cooper join Lady Gaga on stage for surprise ‘Shallow’ performance

A touching way to end the set

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sang ‘Shallow’, the hit song from the A Star is Born soundtrack, to an unsuspecting crowd last night (January 26).

Cooper was in the audience for Gaga’s ‘Enigma’ residency show in Las Vegas before he joined Gaga for a performance of the movie’s Oscar-nominated song.

Cooper, who directed and starred in the film, sang the first half of the song with Gaga kneeling at his feet. Gaga then sat at the piano while Bradley watched on for the second half. Watch a clip below.

A Star is Born is nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor (Cooper), and Best Actress (Gaga).

‘Shallow’ went to Number One in the UK within the first few weeks of its release last year, making it Gaga’s first top spot hit in eight years and fifth in her career overall.

Meanwhile, Gaga played her first Jazz & Piano show in Las Vegas last Sunday (January 20) in which she played a number of songs by artists including Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, and Nat King Cole.

The stripped-down concert will only be performed nine times during her 72-date residency run at Park Theatre.
