Bradley Cooper has teased that he could reunite with Lady Gaga for a one-off show to celebrate A Star Is Born.
The acclaimed drama was released last year and saw the pair star as Ally and Jack, two musicians with careers heading in entirely opposite trajectories.
While it went on to achieve success at the Oscars and the box office, Cooper says that a reunion could now be on the cards.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Cooper ruled out an entire tour but said that a one-night celebration could happen.
“You know what I thought would be really cool to do maybe one night, is do a live reading of the movie, of the script, and sing all the songs as you’re reading the script at The Hollywood Bowl or something,” he explained.
It follows their performance of ‘Shallow’ at the Oscars, which came on the same night that the track won Best Original Song.
“The Oscars was pretty terrifying,” Cooper recalled of their performance.
“It was crazy. I actually wasn’t nervous because I worked so hard and Lady Gaga’s so supportive. But it was terrifying, absolutely, because I’m not a singer and I didn’t sing before this movie so it was really crazy.”
He added: “But it just shows that if you do work really hard and you’re with supportive people that you can do things that you never dreamed was possible. Because I do think with the Oscar thing, people will never watch the movie again if this is bad. Like, ‘they can’t do it’.”
“It was one of those things where this has to be great. It felt great.”
Thanking Cooper on the night of their Oscars victory, Gaga said: “There’s not a single person on the planet who could have sang this song with me but you. Thank you for believing in us, thank you so much.”
The film also returned to cinemas in the US last month, complete with extra footage.
