Bradley Walsh is begging Stormzy for a collaboration

It's been nearly a year since the pair's first meeting

Bradley Walsh has taken to Instagram to beg Stormzy for a collaboration.

The pair first met on the red carpet at last year’s BRIT Awards, after the presenter of The Chase scored the biggest selling debut album of 2016.

Now, the TV star and covers singer has shared a video of himself lip syncing and dancing to the grime hero’s track ‘Shut Up’ in the back of a car. Before turning the song up, he indulged in a bit with the driver, asking him who was on the radio.

“Stormzy, Brad. ‘Shut Up’,” came the reply, to which Walsh responded: “No, you shut up!”

He captioned the post: “Come on Stormzy old love !!! You don’t ring , you don’t write where’s my collab ?? I could do rap with a capital C ! Get jiggy wiv it Instas . Only 3 days til the weekend ……Shuuut Uuuup !

Stormzy has yet to respond to the post, but Walsh has been angling for a collaboration since they met.

At the 2017 BRITs, he told NME that the pair “hang together” as Stormzy walked by on the red carpet. After the MC came over to say hello, Walsh added: “We’re gonna do an album. We’re gonna do an album of Nelson Riddle arrangements in grime form. It’s gonna be called ‘Griddle’. We’re looking forward to it, we’re gonna collaborate.”
