Brand New reschedule Manchester gig

US band will tour Britain in June

Brand New have changed the venue for their forthcoming gig in Manchester next month.

The band will embark on a series of intimate UK shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow next month (June) before returning in September for a run of much larger dates in Manchester, London, Middlesbrough, Edinburgh and Dublin.

The Manchester date on June 1 was originally planned to happen at RNCM Concert Hall but has now been moved to the Gorilla venue on the same date.

The live dates follow the first studio recording from the band in six years, ‘Mene’, and rumours of a new album.

Brand New will play:

Manchester, Gorilla (June 1)
Glasgow, Art School (2)
Birmingham, Glee Club (3)
London, Brooklyn Bowl (4)
Manchester, Albert Hall (September 10)
London, Alexandra Palace (11)
Middlesbrough, Empire (20)
Edinburgh, Usher Hall (21)
Dublin, Vicar Street (22)

In 2013, Brand New cancelled their planned European tour, including their appearances at the Reading And Leeds Festivals. The band announced their decision to call off the shows via a statement citing “insurmountable personal issues” as the reason behind the cancellations.
