Tour cancelled due to 'insurmountable personal issues'
Brand New have cancelled their European tour, including their scheduled Main Stage appearances at the Reading And Leeds Festivals.
The Long Island, New York group announced their decision to call off the shows via a statement posted on Twitter today (June 27), citing “insurmountable personal issues” as the reason behind the cancellations.
The full statement read: “Brand New regretfully announce that due to insurmountable personal issues, they have been forced to cancel their August European tour including appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Sincere apologies to everyone we are letting down.”
The following dates have been cancelled:
Pukkelpop Belgium (August 15)
Open-Air Gampel Switzerland (17)
Hockenheim, Germany (18)
Cologne, Germany (20)
Osnabruck, Germany (22)
Reading Festival (24)
Leeds Festival (25)
