The Killers' singer will release solo album 'The Desired Effect' in May

Brandon Flowers has played tracks from his new album live.

Flowers will release his second solo album, ‘The Desired Effect’, on May 18. The album features guest appearances from Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant, The Killers’ Ronnie Vannucci and Haim singer Danielle Haim.

Having performed his new single ‘Can’t Deny My Love’ on US TV earlier this week (March 23), The Killers’ frontman also played a show in his hometown of Las Vegas on March 21 and at New York’s Webster Hall on March 24.

At the Las Vegas show, Flowers showcased new cuts ‘Digging Up The Heart’ and ‘Dream Come True’, as well as a cover of Robert Palmer’s ‘Simply Irresistible’, while the New York gig saw him preview album track ‘The Way It’s Always Been’. Watch footage below.

The singer has announced five UK solo dates taking place in May, with shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Birmingham from May 21.
