Singer hit with 'wrongful death' lawsuit

Brandy is facing a wrongful death lawsuit from the children of Awatef Aboundihaj, the woman who died in a road accident incident involving the singer.

The suit was filed on behalf of the minors in Los Angeles last Friday (February 9).

A statement from Paul Philips, the lawyer of the victim’s two children, says: “Our clients are obviously devastated by this tragedy. Their lives are upside down, and as children they’re really finding themselves having to deal with a loss they don’t even fully comprehend yet. ”
