‘DIGITAL’ DATES

Conor Oberst recruits all-star band for ’Digital Ash In A Digital Urn' jaunt…

Bright Eyes’s CONOR OBERST has recruited labelmates Faint plus the Yeah Yeah Yeahs to tour album ’DIGITAL ASH IN A DIGITAL URN’.

The Nebraska songwriter released two albums at the same time earlier this year and having toured the more acoustic ‘I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning’, he’s teamed-up Faint to back him for his more electronic record, along with Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who actually played on the album.

The supergroup will play together on a series of American dates including this weekend’s (April 30- May 1) Coachella Festival and a five night residency at New York’s Webster Hall, before the band slims down and Bright Eyes and Faint tour the UK and Ireland.

So far Oberst is confirmed to playing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival in the John Peel Tent (June 26), T In The Park (July 9), Ireland’s Oxegen Festival (July 10) and on July 11 he headlines at Somerset House in London as part of the summer concert series.

Tickets for this show go on sale on April 29 via [url=]somerset-house.org.uk/summer.

It’s believed that these dates will be the only time songs from ‘Digital Ash From A Digital Urn’ will be presented in this manner.

Additionally Bright Eyes will release double A-side single ‘Easy/Lucky/Free’ / ‘Gold Mine Gutted’ on July 11.
