Bring Me The Horizon drummer Matt Nicholls breaks arm during UK tour

Architects sticksman to replace Nicholls for forthcoming UK gigs

Bring Me The Horizon drummer Matt Nicholls has broken his arm mid-way through the band’s headline UK tour.

The accident occurred during a friendly football match and has left Nicholls unable to play the rest of the band’s forthcoming dates.

Last night (April 27), Bring Me The Horizon were joined by support band Architects‘ drummer Dan Searle at the Southampton Guildhall.

Writing on, Searle revealed: “Nicholls broke his arm and I just had to learn Bring Me The Horizon‘s set in an hour and play it to 2,000 people. Sorry it wasn’t spot on if anyone saw!”

He followed with an update: “Yeah I’m playing the rest of the tour for BMTH. Got some work to do!”

Bring Me The Horizon are currently topping NME’s reader-voted list for the greatest metal album of all time.
