Elbow crowned BRITs Best British Group by David Hasselhoff

Elbow were presented with the Best British Group award at the BRIT Awards 2009 tonight (February 18).

The Bury band were announced as winners by actor David Hasselhoff, with frontman Guy Garvey later saying how honoured he was to meet the ‘Knight Rider’ star.

“You wouldn’t believe how long it’s taken us to get this close to The Hoff,” quipped Garvey.
