BRIT Awards 2009 – follow all the action on NME.COM tonight

The BRIT Awards 2009 take place tonight (February 18) at London‘s Earls Court – and we’ll be bringing you all the news from the evening right here on NME.COM.

To find out first who’s won, who’s lost and who’s been causing trouble backstage, check back from 8pm (GMT) tonight.

Coldplay, Duffy, The Killers, Paul Weller, MGMT, Radiohead and The Ting Tings are all hoping to win big at the ceremony, and we’ll be on hand to report all the night’s big news.


Performances at the ceremony are set to come from the likes of U2, Kings Of Leon, Coldplay, Girls Aloud and Duffy.

Meanwhile, Pet Shop Boys will receive the Lifetime Achievement award, while Florence And The Machine have been named Critic’s Choice for this year’s ceremony.

The awards are hosted by Kylie Minogue, along with former Shockwaves NME Awards hosts James Corden and Matthew Horne.
