The band also offer to kiss fans…

British Sea Power are celebrating the release of their new album with a free intimate gig in LONDON tonight (April 4).

The band who release their already acclaimed second album ‘Open Season’ today, will be playing the Oxford Circus HMV from 6pm, and have declared “come one, come all”.

The band who scored a top 20 hit last week with single ‘It Ended On An Oily Stage’ say they are looking forward to meeting fans at this evenings show which also includes a signing session.

“We’re looking forward to playing at HMV and we’re looking forward to meeting everyone from NME readerland,” guitarist Noble told NME.COM. “We’re told the stage will be set up beside a big picture of Natasha Bedingfield, which makes it even better. We will be signing anything you care to bring along. Some band members may only be able to manage an X, but they’ll also give you a kiss if you like that kind of thing.”

After the signing the band will play a sold-out show in Camden, which will be broadcast on XFM in the near future, before heading out on their UK tour later this week.
