Britney Spears disregards court order for fifth time

But she's got yet another chance today

Britney Spears yesterday (January 2) failed to appear in court – missing a deposition for the fifth time.

The star was supposed to show up to the hearing in Los Angeles in relation to the ongoing custody battle for her two songs Jayden James and Sean Preston. Her ex-husband Kevin Federline currently has custody of the boys.

As reported yesterday, Spears‘ lawyers have asked for permission to ditch the pop star, saying it has proven impossible to represent her.

Meanwhile, it seems she has been given yet another chance to appear in court, with a hearing set for today, says Perez Hilton.

Despite failing to show so many times, Spears has yet to be reprimanded by the court for violating a court order.

Spears cited ‘high anxiety’ as the reason for one previous no-show.
