Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline says ‘everything is great’ with their parenting

Spears has two children with former dancer

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline has said the couple’s relationship is now amicable for the sake of their children.

Federline, a rapper and former dancer, was married to the singer from 2004-07 and has sole custody of the couple’s two sons Sean and Jayden.

But in a new interview with Access Hollywood, Federline said: “Co-parenting is going great with Britney. The schedule has been worked out over time and we talk when we need to. It’s always about the boys – mostly school stuff – and we make sure we stay on top of that. It’s going great.”

Federline, who has four other children, said that the couple’s relationship was “a whirlwind”. He added: “You’re thrown into the limelight and everything kind-of happened. But it was a good time in my life and we have two beautiful children. The way everything has turned out, everyone is happy.”

The couple met when Federline was a dancer for Pink and Destiny’s Child, marrying after three months together. After their split, Federline became an actor, appearing in the film American Pie: The Book Of Love, before becoming a rapper and DJ.

Spears said in August 2014 that she is working on a new album to follow 2013’s Bangerz. She is performing a residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas until 2016.
