BRITNEY SPEARS cancelled an appearance on a US network TV chat show last week fearful of an anthrax attack.
The star was due to appear on Jay Leno’s show in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 11) but pulled out at the last minute after three employees of NBC in New York tested positive for anthrax poisoning. NBC produces the Jay Leno show.
It is the second time in recent weeks that aftershocks from the September 11 terror strikes have led to very public changes in Britney‘s plans. She cancelled a major promotional trip to Europe just days after the attacks as fears of further hijackings forced many to abandon plans to make aeroplane journeys.
