Brockhampton have announced that they will be performing on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon next week – their first live appearance since the departure of rapper Ameer Vann last month.
The rising hip-hop group suffered a major setback after allegations of sexual misconduct were made against Vann by a number of his ex-partners. Brockhampton responded to the allegations by kicking Vann out of the group, explaining to their fans that “they were lied to” by the rapper.
“We want to sincerely apologise to the victims affected by Ameer’s actions. We were lied to, and we’re sorry for not speaking up sooner,” the group’s statement on May 27 read.
“We do not tolerate abuse of any kind. This is not a solution to their suffering, but we hope this is a step in the right direction.”
Brockhampton have now announced their live return, with the group set to give a performance on the US talk show on June 20.

Prior to the allegations that were made against Vann, Brockhampton were gearing up to release their next studio project, ‘Puppy’.
The release of ‘Puppy’ has been put back since the allegations against Vann broke last month.
Brockhampton are due to make their live UK debut with a pair of sold-out shows at London venue KOKO on August 20-21.
