Military Wives set to knock Bruce Springsteen off the UK Album Chart summit

It also looks like Gotye is heading for another week at Number One

Military Wives are set to top the Official UK Album Chart this weekend with their album ‘In My Dreams’.

The album, which has enjoyed a sales boost in the week leading up to Mother’s Day, is comfortably ahead of Michael Kiwanuka, who is presently Number Two with his debut LP ‘Home Again’, reports the Official Charts Company.

Emeli Sande is set to be Number Three on Sunday (March 18), with Adele currently Number Four with ’21’ and Springsteen set to fall to Number Five with ‘Wrecking Ball’.

Marcus Collins is set to debut at Number Seven with his self-titled album, just behind Lana Del Rey, who is presently Number Six. Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Lionel Richie are set to make up the rest of Top 10.

Meanwhile in the Official Singles Chart, Gotye is set to be Number One once again with ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’.

The Australian singer is currently outselling Alexandra Burke’s new track ‘Elephant’ which is on to be Number Two. Nicki Minaj is presently Number Three with ‘Starships’, with Emeli Sande at Number Four and Flo Rida at Number Five.

The Top 10 is otherwise largely unmoved, with David Guetta, DJ Fresh, Stooshe and Tinchy Stryder all set to remain in its lower reaches.
