Nine-year-old Xabi Glovsky attended Springsteen’s gig at the Los Angeles Sports Arena earlier this week (March 15), reportedly preempting the late night which a sign that read: “Bruce, I will be late to school tomorrow. Please sign my note.”
After the show, Springsteen wrote a note of his own for the youngster, which read: “Xabi has been out very late rocking + rolling. Please excuse him if he is tardy!” See below.
Glovsky’s father Scott explained to fan site Backstreets: “Bruce sat down on a couch and started to talk with Xabi, asking for the name of his teacher and how Xabi spelled his name, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen.”
