Badly Drawn Boy and Pete Yorn are among the performers
Badly Drawn Boy, Pete Yorn and Jewel are among the performers who will take part in a tribute to Bruce Springsteen in April in New York.
The event, which will take place at the legendary Carnegie Hall in Manhattan, is to benefit New York’s Music for Youth, an organisation which that supports music education for the city’s underprivileged young people.
Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmunds, Josh Ritter, Steve Earle and Chris Isaak are also scheduled to appear at the event, as are actor Kevin Bacon and his band The Bacon Brothers.
Previous Music For Youth events included tributes to Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan, and included performances by Patti Smith and The Roots among others.
