BRUCE ON THE BBC

30 years of The Boss in 60 minutes...

Bruce Springsteen, whose boxed set ‘Tracks’ was released last week, is the subject of a major documentary called Bruce Springsteen: A Secret History which will be broadcast on BBC2 at 11.30 pm on December 5.

Filmed in New Jersey, the programme includes a rare interview with Springsteen in which he talks about Vietnam, his drug experiences (or lack of them) and his 30 year career which started in a hairdressing salon.

There’s an exclusive acoustic performance of ‘Born In The USA’ performed in an Asbury Park bar plus footage from his legendary 1975 London Hammersmith Odeon gig including the seldom-performed ‘Man At The Top’, ‘Stand On It’ and ‘Janey Don’t Lose Your Heart’.
