Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band,Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and The Darkness are all set to play the Isle Of Wight festival today (June 24).
The Boss is set to headline the Main Stage tonight and will be playing tracks from his latest, critically-acclaimed album ‘Wrecking Ball’ alongside fan favourites from his extensive back-catalogue of hits.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be playing just before him on the same stage, with The Vaccines and Band Of Skulls playing sets earlier in the day.
The Big Top stage will be headlined by The Darkness with Northern Irish rock legends Ash playing second from top on the bill. There will also be sets from Pulled Apart By Horses and Spector.
Meanwhile, former X Factor winner Matt Cardle, who was recently dropped by his record label Columbia, will be playing this afternoon on the Garden Stage. Spice Girls’ Melanie C will also be playing the event. See Isleofwightfestival.com for more information.
