A picture was posted from Elliott’s Twitter account of the pair working together. “Had a blast vibing wit my fam @BrunoMars @ the studio! GoodVibes He got some [fire]! He such a rare gem! Big up Sunny,” she wrote.
It is unclear whether the pair were laying down a track for Mars’ forthcoming new album or Elliott’s.
Mars was supposed to release new music last month, but was set back after agreeing to make an appearance during Coldplay’s halftime show at the Super Bowl.

The singer’s third album is now due out in September/October, according to his father Pete Hernandez who who recently revealed: “It was due in March, but by doing the Super Bowl, it threw him back several months.
“Bruno has seven great new songs – I’ve heard them – but the album should now be released in September or October, to qualify for next year’s Grammy Awards.”
The news comes after Mars’ sound engineer Charles Moniz said that fans can expect a “sound evolution” when it comes to his new LP.
He noted: “I think it’s going to be the next movement of Bruno,” before adding: “That’s the thing: When the vibe’s right and everyone’s having fun, that’s when the best music comes out.”
Mars’ new record will serve as the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ and 2012’s ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.
Both albums have sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, with them both hitting the top spot in the UK.
